How the scheme works

A summary of the steps involved in signing up to a childcare voucher scheme are listed below. More detailed information will be sent when your employer requests an Employer Start-Up Pack.

  1. If you have a child who meets the qualifying conditions, establish whether entering the scheme will be financially beneficial to you. Your payroll, HR department or financial advisor could assist with this.
  2. Check that your Carer accepts our vouchers and, if not, request their permission to send us their details for enrolment. There is no cost to your Carer in accepting Childcare Vouchers (Wales).
  3. Return your completed ‘Employee Registration Form’ to us.
  4. Advise the relevant department or person in charge or the Childcare Voucher scheme that you wish to participate.
  5. Sign a variation to your employment contract.
